Welcome to the Course!

Welcome to the Essentials of Raising a Dog in the Philippines course. I am Dr. Van Denn Cruz, a dog and cat veterinarian working in one of the largest veterinary hospitals in the country. With a licensed professional experience extending over half a decade, I’ll be your instructor for this course over the next few days.

Like you, I was a dog owner who feared a lot of things when there’s something wrong with my dog’s health. This was my life before I was a veterinarian. Knowing very little gives us lots of scary and crazy ideas which may lead us to unintentionally harming our beloved dog’s health. Veterinary medicine surely has lots of complicated and difficult to understand terminologies which makes us more worried when our dogs get sick.

Now, you don’t have to be. I don’t want you to make the same mistakes like I did.

Over the next several lessons, I had extracted the essentials of canine medicine out of the textbooks and my experience from the walls of our hospital and simplified them for you. So you can worry less when your dog gets ill, because after this course, you definitely will know more and understand more!

As cliché as it may sound, in this age of disinformation, knowledge is power!
